Children's Traffic Club Roadshow

Date of Event: 18/04/2008 - 19/04/2008

The Children’s Traffic Club is a proven and successful road safety scheme developed to help parents teach basic road skills to 3 - 4 year olds.

The Children's Traffic Club

Following the Mayor of London’s commitment to reduce the number of children killed or seriously injured on London’s roads by 50% by 2010, Transport for London is proud to fund The Children’s Traffic Club.

Children are invited to join around their third birthday directly from their local Primary Care Trusts. Once registered, they receive their first book pack and then one every three months.

The very latest addition to The Club is a lively performance now on tour round all Early Years establishments and shopping centres throughout London. At the heart of The Club are balloon characters that represent key road safety messages.  The roadshow brings these balloon characters to life and the costumed performers interact directly with the children.

The half hour shows are an engaging interaction, with stories, song and dance highlighting the key road safety messages.

So don’t miss out  - Visit at the Lewisham Shopping centre  Friday 18th April 2008.
