£1000 of art materials to be won at The Works

The Works in Lewisham Shopping Centre is running an art competition and is calling all budding artists to enter for a chance to win £1,000 worth of art materials!

There are three categories of entrants:

Adult (over 18yrs):	1st prize £500 art materials, runner up £150 gift vouchers
Teenager (12-17yrs):	1st prize £200 art materials, runner up £50 gift vouchers
Junior (up to 11yrs):	1st prize £80 art materials, runner up £20 gift vouchers

The competition starts on Saturday 11th August and entries should be submitted online at www.theworks.co.uk.  More information and terms and conditions can also be found on the website.

There will be no judging panels, instead there will be an online voting system, giving the public the chance to choose the winner. Voting online starts on 24th September.

The theme is 'The Weather' and it is totally open for interpretation. If you would like to enter as a school or college, individual entries will be judged as part of the main competition, and as an added bonus, the winner's school will collect an additional £200 of art and craft materials for the classroom.
