Punk Science
Date of Event: 18/10/2007 - 28/10/2007
Punk Science is the world's only museum-based science comedy group performing a unique blend of comedy, music and live experiments.
On Thursday 18th October Punk Science visited Lewisham Shopping Centre and performed some of the most exhilarating

science shows ever seen. The Punk Science tour
kicked off on 16th October in Swindon and is then travelling the length and breadth of the UK over the coming weeks. It is a must see event, demonstrating the wild side of science!
Punk Science is a group of three entertainers, Brad, Dan and Jon, commissioned by The Science Museum, who have made it their mission to make science fun, interesting and engaging for everyone. As part of their show at Lewisham Shopping Centre they demonstrated how to fly, how the greenhouse effect works and even showed how to make a wild and messy experiment of your own.
The tour is driving support for the Science Museum’s Inspired project, one of six candidates bidding for £50 million from the Big Lottery, voted for by the British public later this year via a televised vote. The funding is vital to secure Inspired’s future as a brand new type of interactive museum.
The Punk Scientists performed shows in the North Mall (outside Boots).
As you can see on the right, the show was a winning success!
